Monday, April 30 and Tuesday, May 1, 2018, Monday: 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.** and Tuesday: 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.

Workshop led by: Brian R. Murer, DC, SMTh

Course Description: This two-day course serves as a foundation to introduce the student to the ELDOA METHOD™ exercises. The ELDOA method is a revolutionary set of movements developed by European Osteopath Guy Voyer, DO, more than 30 years ago. The ELDOA create space in a targeted joint, returning normal physiological movement to the articulation by leveraging knowledge of the fascial chains in the body and following the tenets of bio-tensegrity.

The ELDOA have been successfully used and perfected by Voyer for more than three decades in Europe and are now taking hold in all four North American professional sports leagues, as well as in elite individual professional sports and Olympic training camps.

This course is a mix of didactic and practical work with an emphasis on a hands-on practical experience. It covers the history and foundations of Voyer’s development of the ELDOA and how to properly perform, instruct, and prescribe the five foundational ELDOA. The ELDOA covered in the course focus on the C4-C5, T6-T7, T8-T9, and L5-S1 spinal segments, as well as the General ELDOA, which have numerous applications, notably concussion recovery protocols. Successful completion of this course prepares the student for further study in the six-part ELDOA certification program.

Gray Institute 3DMaps (3D Movement Analysis and Performance System Certification)

Tuesday, May 1, 2018, 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.****

Workshop led by: Christina Richardson, DO, FACOPMR

Course Description: 3DMAPS is the most innovative way to effectively analyze the function of the entire body in an efficient, revealing, and evidence-based manner. This certification equips you, the movement professional, with the content, competence, and confidence to meet the needs, wants, and goals of all your patients and clients. Unlike any other movement screen, 3DMAPS is a movement analysis and performance system that efficiently analyzes the three-dimensional movements and abilities of all individuals in all human function. 3DMAPS boils down all human movement (the three-dimensional interaction of joints, muscles, and proprioceptors) into 6 Vital Transformational Zones, adapts these movements within Mobility Analysis Movements (assessing range of motion) and Stability Analysis Movements (assessing control of motion), and empowers you then to prioritize the best and most logical progressions to better serve your patients and clients.

One-Day Seminar Content:

  • Applied Functional Science®/Science of Movement Functional Spectrum
